Philosophy in a Bottle:

Our Grenache epitomizes our winemaking team's ultimate philosophy: to craft wines that are elegant, graceful, and truly rewarding. Originating in northern Spain, Grenache has become renowned for its role in Rhone varietals and thrives in warmer climates, finding homes in new world wine-making countries like Australia and South Africa. With a rich, succulent palate and earthy undertones, Grenache offers a sensory journey like no other.

From Vineyard to Glass:

Our Grenache hails from a trellised vineyard planted in 2008 on a Northern slope, carefully tended to bring out the best in each grape. Hand-harvested, sorted, and destemmed, the grapes undergo fermentation on the skins. Aging in a combination of 50% second-fill and 50% third-fill barrels adds complexity and depth. From this meticulous process, only the finest 7 barrels are selected and blended to create this exceptional wine, with just 2800 bottles produced.

Winemaker's Notes:

Upon pouring, this wine bursts from the glass with notes of candied red currants and an intense fruitiness. The palate is bright, with crisp tannins and vibrant acids, complemented by inner mouth perfume and a light, elegant mouthfeel. The long, graceful finish leaves a delightful streak of cranberry, inviting you to savor each sip.

Age-Worthy Excellence:

While enjoyable now, our Grenache will further develop and mature with bottle aging for three to five years, unlocking new layers of complexity and character.
