Goede Hoop Wine Estate

Just off the old road between Kuils River and Stellenbosch and down in the valley of Botterlary Kloof is where you’ll Goede Hoop Wine Estate. The old farmhouse, rich in atmosphere, was built in 1880 and the Bestbier family first bought this farm in 1928. Today it’s still run by the family with Pieter Bestbier (now a third-generation winemaker) at the helm. Although the winemaking at Goede Hoop is supported by modern technology, they strive to stay as close as possible to Mother Nature. Motivated by a passion for people, wine and nature; you are invited to taste their handcrafted wines and experience this passion.
