A FABulous, dry-farmed Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine completed malolactic fermentation in old 300L barrels and was matured for 12 months. 10% new French oak was used to add structure and balance.
What can you expect?
On the nose, red berry fruit from the Paarl grapes, as well as darker berry notes, cassis and tomato-leaf from the Stellenbosch vineyards. Soft and grainy tannins with a silky and refined finish.
Made to drink now, but can cellar for a further 5-7years. Buy a case and open a bottle every year to enjoy its evolution.
