An expressive, generous Champagne while staying soft and harmonious. Enticing indulgence

One of the oldest families in France, the Dampierre family has been mixing its destiny with the nourishing land of Champagne for seven centuries. By marrying Marie Boisseau, whose family was related to the great dynasties of Champagne, Audoin de Dampierre’s great-grandfather linked his name to the history of this noble product as early as 1881. In 1986, Audoin de Dampierre created his champagne house. He put his passion and energy into the development of the house before passing it on to the actual owners whose dedication is to pursue this quest of excellence.

Maintaining this tradition, the Champagne House Comtes de Dampierre selects only wines from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards and only from two grape-varieties : Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Chardonnay grapes, very largely represented in the different cuvees are the specific signature of our range. The Pinot Noir grapes are reflecting our location in Bouzy, the heart of this grand cru area.

    What can you expect?

An expressive style with fruity patisserie nose and a light touch of biscuit and smoky notes. Refined texture and pleasant mellowness.

    Wine Spectator – 92 points

“A creamy Champagne, featuring graphite, honey, vanilla and candied citrus aromas and flavors. Light and airy, but has character, harmony and length. Drink now.”

Named after the current owner of the Dampierre estate, this wine comes from the ripe Pinot Noir territory of Bouzy. It is ripe, full of apple and apricot flavors and with a generous richness. It is on the sweeter side of Brut, giving a soft, full aftertaste.
