Bellevue Malbec 2021 per Case

This Malbec is a unique example of the cultivar, displaying a rich hue and captivating scents reminiscent of fynbos. The aroma reveals subtle notes of rosemary, fynbos, buchu, and mint. On the palate, an abundance of plums, berries, and herbs unfolds, complemented by soft tannins and a lingering finish.

This Malbec is a unique example of the cultivar, showing deep color and fynbos flavors. The nose shows hints of rosemary and mint. The palate is packed with plums, berries, and spices, followed by soft tannins and a lingering finish. The wine has an aging potential of 5 - 10 years.

Vinification:

The grapes were harvested at 24°C Brix, fermented at 26-28°C for about 5 days. Pumped over 3 times daily during alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation was completed in tanks. The wine matured in French oak for 12 months.
